BackgroundDesign engineer

I'm a design engineer who works across UX, UI and frontend code. I start with a hypothesis about what's getting in a person's way, design a fix in Figma, and build it myself in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React.

At David Weekley Homes I design, build and launch personalized website experiences and A/B tests, then read GA4, Clarity heatmaps and session replays to see what actually worked. Before that I built responsive interfaces for SXSW's digital platforms from Figma designs.

I studied Digital Media Innovation at Texas State University and graduated summa cum laude. Outside of work I help guests at large live events with Insomniac, which keeps me close to what confusing wayfinding feels like in real life.
